Saying the Pledge-A Laughing Matter?
Here is the video of Congressman Xavier Becerra (D-CA) laughing when someone from Ari David for Congress suggests opening the Immigration rally with the pledge of Allegiance. Becerra is the man in the dark suit that is seated on the right.
This reaction is disgusting coming from anyone. It is especially horrendous coming from a Congressman who should not only have more class than this, but should also have more respect for the flag and his country. This whole affair reminds me of a bunch of high school students who laugh anytime someone suggests they have respect for someone or something other than themselves.
Folks, this is not a good sign. It definitely explains our country’s current state of affairs when we have people in Congress who think it is funny to show any sign of patriotism.
I do not know what is worse. This, Nancy Pelosi asking if a reporter was serious when asked about the constitutionality of health care, or Obama constantly putting America down instead of defending his own country. Why would anyone want these people in our government?
